The third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test between India and Australia which began in Brisbane on Friday, saw only 13.2 overs completed on the first day with rain bringing an early end to proceedings.
Though the ground boasts a state-of-the-art drainage system, the heavy downpour meant the outfield could not be match-ready in time. Australia was 28 for no loss at Stumps.
