NIZAMABAD: Nizamabad Urban BJP MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta has requested Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to allocate funds for the city’s development. Accompanied by Bodhan Congress MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy, he met the CM in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Gupta sought ₹60 crore from TUFIDC, ₹5 crore as development funds, and a special allocation of ₹100 crore. He also proposed the establishment of an integrated school in Nizamabad and highlighted the need for funds to improve roads, underground drainage, government schools, and hospitals. He also sought the issuance of new ration cards. The Chief Minister responded positively to the memorandum submitted by Gupta.
