While people are still unable to digest and overcome the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incidentreports of comedian-actor Kapil Sharma getting alarming death threats have surfaced. According to various reports, it has come to attention that Kapil Sharma has received a threatening message that warned the actor, along with his family, colleagues, relatives, and even neighbours, would be ‘killed’.
Earlier, other celebrities – Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D’Souza also received a similar message
Reportedly, an FIR has been logged by the Mumbai police after complaints came from Kapil Sharma and Rajpal Yadav. While in the case of Sugangha Mishra, a non-cognizable offense has been recorded.
Further, coming to the threatening message, reports state that it came via an email from someone named ‘Bishnu.’ The sender has claimed that he has been monitoring the actions of these celebrities very closely.
“We are watching your recent actions closely. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request that you take this message seriously and maintain confidentiality,” states the email according to the Fresh Press Journal
The email sender further warned that if his demands were not met within eight hours, then the consequences could be “dangerous.” Now what specifically did he demand, has not been revealed.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma, who played a small cameo in ‘Crew,’ recently spoke about how his life changed in the last two decades. While attending the event in Delhi he shared how there was a time when he would come to the hotels to perform small gigs and now at similar venues, he is being respectfully awarded.
This further highlights the dark side of stardom. On the one hand, where Kapil was recently celebrating all the good things in life, on the other hand, perhaps, his celebrity status made him a soft target for predators.
