Kaveri Kapurdaughter of acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and actor-singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, is all set to make her acting debut in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Bobby aur rishi ki love story‘. Starring opposite Vardhan Purigrandson of legendary actor Amrish Purithe film is directed by Kunal Kohli and will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on February 11, 2025.
Ahead of its release, Kaveri and Vardhan were spotted in Mumbai, stepping out of a movie theatre together. In a video shared by a paparazzo account, the duo appeared cheerful as they exited the venue. Vardhan was seen holding Kaveri’s hand while assisting her down the stairs, engaging in casual conversation before walking her to the car. Their off-screen camaraderie has further fueled excitement about their on-screen chemistry.
Adding to the buzz, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi unveiled the film’s first-look poster on Instagram, featuring Kaveri leaning on Vardhan’s shoulder under a tree. Captioning the post with an emotional note, she wrote, “OMG my baby girl @kaverikapur. So so soooo proud of u.” Kaveri responded with heart emojis, expressing her excitement and gratitude.
Meanwhile, Shekhar Kapur, who was recently honored with the Padma Bhushan, continues to make headlines for his contributions to cinema. He also served as the chairperson of the 2024 International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
