Kendrick Lamarthe Grammy Award winner, performed his highly acclaimed track ‘Not Like Us’ during the halftime show of Super Bowl Sundayand guess who missed it – Drake! While Drake might not be as excited as Lamar’s fans, he is currently in Australia performing at his concert at Rod Laver ArenaMelbourne.
The Canadian singer, Drake and the one who won five Grammy Awards for the diss track about Drake, Kendrick Lamar, have a long history of feud, while their fans enjoy some good quality tracks. After Lamar swept the awards with a historical win with the audience grooving and singing ‘A Minor’, Drake announced the Australia and New Zealand tour, keeping himself busy amid the drama.
The fans who attended the concert of “Ay, Kendrick just opened his mouth. Someone go hand him a Grammy right now,” lyric singer, Drake, shared a video of him saying that he is ‘still alive’, unbothered by all the hate received from the diss track. He said, “My name is Drake. I started in 2008, I came all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and Drizzy Drake is very much still alive.”
Additionally, SZA, one of Drake’s past flames, also joined Lamar on the stage to perform “Luther” and “All the Stars.” They dated back in 2009, and SZA has been a singer whom Kendrick has collaborated with quite often.
In January 2025, Drake filed a lawsuit against the Universal Music Group (UMG), alleging that the lyrics were defamatory, and accusing the ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ rapper of being a ‘Paedophile’. However, the UMG dismissed the lawsuit by stating that the lawsuit was trying to ‘silence’ Lamar and they were ‘illogical’. Previously, Drake had also claimed that the music group was trying to publish and monetise the allegations which were false and malicious.
