Deepika Padukonewho has been the global brand ambassador for Cartier since 2022, recently made a stunning appearance at the French luxury jewellery brand’s 25th-anniversary celebration in the Middle East. Marking her first overseas engagement as a brand ambassador after embracing motherhood, Deepika exuded elegance in a flowy black JADE by Monica and Karishma ensemble.
The actress, who recently welcomed her daughter, Two Padukone Singhshared glimpses of her look on Instagram stories, leaving fans in awe of her timeless charm. Earlier, Deepika made her first public appearance post-childbirth at designer Sabyasachi mukherjee’s 25th-year celebration show in Mumbai, where she opened the show for the renowned designer.
Beyond her glamorous outings, Deepika has also been making an impact with her advocacy for mental health. She recently graced the eighth season of Pariksha pe charchaan interactive programme with students, where she spoke candidly about her battle with depression.
Deepika recalled her experience, mentioning that in 2014, she unexpectedly fainted and later understood that she was struggling with depression. She described it as an invisible illness that isn’t always apparent. It was her mother who recognized the signs when she broke down and advised her to seek help from a psychologist. Deepika emphasized that opening up about it significantly lightened the burden.
Currently on a break from films, Deepika is expected to return to work in the coming months. Reports suggest that her next big-screen appearance might be in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
