Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika mandanna starrer ‘Chhaava‘ released in cinemas on Friday and became the biggest opener of 2025. Meanwile, the film saw tremendous growth over the weekend. Infact, on Sunday, the film had the biggest ever single-day collection in Maharashtra, beating the collection of Allu arjun‘s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on Day 4.
The film is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with Vicky getting into his shoes. Rashmika plays his wife Yesubai. Thus, it was expected that the movie will perform the best in Maharashtra circuit, which it did. On Saturday, the collection of the film was Rs 37 crore while on Sunday, it saw a huge growth and made Rs 48.5 crore. Thus it crossed the Rs 100 crore mark over the weekend.
