Tata Other Performance in India
After the launch of the performance-focused Altroz Racerand the fact that an automatic version was on the cardsthe Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno rival hasn’t been in the news much, other than featuring on the Tata discounts lists. With these new spy shots surfacing, it seems like Tata Motors is moving ahead with the mid-cycle refresh for the hatchback launched in January 2020. It has received variant and feature updates since, along with the addition of a more powerful turbo-petrol engine, but no design changes.
In fact, Tata’s premium hatchback isn’t setting the sales charts on fire, with rivals like the Maruti BalenoHyundai i20 and the Outosa Glanza.. And that’s despite the Altroz being the only model in the premium hatchback segment to offer a diesel engine option. The Altroz is currently priced between Rs 6.65 lakh and Rs 11.30 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
