In India, Apple has unveiled the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, which are driven by the cutting-edge M4 CPU.

Apple unveiled its latest entry-level MacBook Air on March 5, featuring the powerful 10-core M4 processor, first introduced in the iPad Pro (2024). The 2025 MacBook Air comes with 16GB of RAM and is available in 13-inch and 15-inch Liquid Retina display options. Users can expand storage up to 2TB of SSD. Preloaded with macOS Sequoia, the new MacBook also supports Apple Intelligence for an enhanced user experience.
MacBook Air (2025): Here’s All About It
Both the 13-inch (2,560×1,664 pixels) and 15-inch (2,880×1,864 pixels) Super Retina screens on the MacBook Air (2025) have a pixel density of 224 ppi and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. According to the company, while the laptop is open, it can accommodate up to two external monitors with a resolution of up to 6K.
Apple has equipped the MacBook Air (2025) with the M4 chip, featuring a 10-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores. The laptop also boasts an 8-core GPU, a 16-core neural engine, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing for enhanced graphics performance
The MacBook Air (2025) offers configurable options of up to 2TB of SSD storage and 24GB of RAM. It features a three-mic array and a quad-speaker setup with spatial audio for an immersive sound experience. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm audio jack, two Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 ports, a MagSafe 3 charging port, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
For security and convenience, the laptop integrates a Touch ID button for authentication and unlocking. It also includes a Force Touch trackpad for Multi-Touch gestures and Force clicks. Additionally, the 1080p FaceTime camera supports Desk View and Centre Stage, enhancing video call quality.
The base model of the 13-inch MacBook Air comes with a 30W USB Type-C power adapter and is equipped with a 53.8Wh lithium-polymer battery that supports 70W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 15-inch variant features a slightly larger 66.5Wh battery. According to Apple, the latest MacBook Air offers up to 15 hours of web browsing and up to 18 hours of video playback via the Apple TV app.
Price And Availability In India
The base model of the MacBook Air (2025), featuring 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 99,900 in India. The 15-inch variant with the same configuration starts at Rs. 1,24,900.
Apple’s latest MacBook Air is now available for pre-order and will officially go on sale in India on Wednesday, March 12. It will be offered in four color options: Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue and Starlight.
