Dhanashree verma has filed for divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra chahal. They got married in 2020 but have been living apart for the last 18 months.
Amid her divorce proceedings, Dhanashree Verma attended Abhishek bachchan‘s Be Happy screening in Mumbai on Wednesday. A video on Instagram showed the choreographer leaving the venue after watching the film.
Wearing a maroon and white co-ord set, Dhanashree Verma warmly interacted with the paparazzi and shared that the film made her emotional. She said, “Main bahut emotional feel kar rahi hu abhi” (I am feeling very emotional).Earlier this week, Dhanashree Verma shared a cryptic Instagram story that read, “Blaming women is always in fashion.” This came after Yuzvendra Chahal was seen at the Champions Trophy final with popular Rj mahvash on Sunday.
Some users linked Dhanashree’s cryptic post to Yuzvendra Chahal’s outing with RJ Mahvash, while others felt it was her response to the trolling she has faced since announcing their divorce.
Reports claimed that Dhanashree Verma demanded ₹60 crore as alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal. However, a family member dismissed these rumors and cautioned the media against spreading misinformation.
The statement read, “We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation.
