Salman Khan’s much-anticipated Eid 2025 releaseSikandar, has kicked off its overseas advance booking, even before unveiling its trailer. Slated to hit the big screen on March 30th, the film is already generating massive buzz, with international ticket sales now officially open. While fans abroad can secure their seats for this action-packed entertainer, advance booking in India is yet to begin.The film is going to have it’s premiere shows on 29th March.
In international markets it is a usual trend to open advance booking before the trailer release, in some cases advance booking opens a month before the release like it happened with Prabhas’Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire. Sources suggest that Sikandar’s team is planning a grand-scale event to launch the trailer, ensuring that Salman Khan’s Eid release arrives with maximum impact. This move aligns with the star’s larger-than-life image and the growing trend of Bollywood films creating event-like hype around their promotional materials.The film also stars Rashmika mandanna, Kajal agarwalSharman Joshi and has music by Pritam.It is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and is directed by A R Murugadoss.
The songs Bum Bum Bhole and Zohra Owners have been trending the charts since the day of the release. Salman is releasing a film on Eid after a gap of one year and there is a lot of expectation from it- though the film is releasing on a Sunday ( 30th March). The last time Salman released a film on Sunday was Tiger 3- it was also Diwali that day and the results were not up to the mark. The trade hopes that history doesn’t repeat itself , the makers have been organising special screenings for their family and friends and the response coming from there has been great.
Back home, fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s trailer and the commencement of domestic advance bookings. With Sikandar promising high-octane action and gripping drama, the film is expected to be one of the biggest box office draws of the year.
