Salman Khan‘s new film, ‘Sikandar,’ dropped its trailer a few days ago, and fans are buzzing with excitement. But amidst all the action-packed scenes and Salman’s signature swag, something caught everyone’s eye – or should we say, something that shouldn’t have been there at all!
Salman hands out ‘Children Bank of India’ notes
In one particular scene, Salman’s character, Sikandar, sits in a taxi with his mates, played by Jatin Sarna and others. As Jatin’s character protests about something, Salman coolly hands him two bundles of Rs 500 notes, a total that should be around Rs 1 lakh. But eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted a blunder – the notes didn’t say “Reserve Bank of India.” Instead, they had “Children Bank of India” printed on them!
A sharp-eyed Instagram user zoomed in on the notes and shared the clip, writing, “Did you notice this in the ‘Sikandar’ trailer? – Salman Khan hands the taxi driver a bundle of notes with ‘Children Account’ written on them.” This little slip-up quickly went viral on social media, with people sharing it left and right.
Netizens reacts
The video hit 100,000 views in a day, and the comment section became a battlefield. Some fans were left shaking their heads in disbelief one user wrote, “Why are all these directors hell-bent on ruining Salman films?” while another said, ” ₹400 crore budget and this attention to detail.”
But many others rushed to defend the film, saying this is totally normal in the industry, saying “Almost every film uses prop money, this isn’t new!” and “Haan toh kya original note use honge? (Will they use real money?)”. One fan even advised fellow Salman fans to calm down, “Why is everyone like f***ing crying over here, We also love Salman but this isn’t a criticism to him. It’s just a lack of attention to details. Itni obvious galti kaise kr skte h trailer me (How can they make an obvious mistake in the trailer).”
Directed by AR Murugadoss, ‘Sikandar’ features an exciting cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal AggarwalSathyaraj, Sharman Joshiand Prateik Babbar. The film is all set to hit the big screens on March 30, right in time for Eid.
