We truly appreciate your support. Sonali and the other two family members are recovering well. Forever grateful for your love and kindness. Sonu Sood & Family.”
Fans showed their support by sending prayers and well wishes. Many praised Sonu for his kindness and said that his good deeds would protect him and his family. Messages included, “Wishing speedy recovery and good health for Madam Sood” and “Your kindness and humility inspire millions. Wishing Sonali and the family a speedy recovery.”
Sonali Sood’s road accident
As per Hindustan Times, on the night of 24 March 2025, Sonali Sood was in a car accident while travelling from Nagpur airport to Byramji Town. She was with her sister, Sunita, and her nephew, Siddharth, who was driving at the time. The accident happened on the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon when their car collided with a truck. Their vehicle hit the truck from behind while trying to overtake it. Emergency services arrived quickly, and all three were taken to a hospital in Nagpur.
The hospital in Nagpur released a statement about their condition
“Mrs. Sonali Sood, her sister, and her nephew were brought to the Emergency Department at approximately 10:30 PM last night. They had allegedly been in a road traffic accident. All three patients were conscious upon arrival and had stable vital signs. They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found. Her nephew was discharged after first aid. Mrs. Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well. Their condition is stable.”
Sonu Sood and Sonali have been married since 1996 and have two sons, I and Ishant.
