A woman gave birth to a child on a street in Bangkok after the tremors of a massive Myanmar earthquake led to a forced evacuation from the hospital on Friday.
The woman gave birth to the child on a stretcher as the staff from the hospital surrounded her and helped her in the delivery.

In the wake of earthquake tremors, patients from BNH Hospital and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital were evacuated to a park. Some of them were brought out in stretchers and wheelchairs.
In the wake of the evacuation, hospital staff were providing care to patients outside the hospital buildings.
The video of the birth of the baby amid the chaos after the earthquake was widely shared on social media platforms.
The death toll crossed the 1,000 mark, while more than 2,300 people were injured after two massive earthquakes rocked Myanmar and its neighbouring Thailand on Friday afternoon. The tremors of the earthquake were felt as far as Bangkok.
Besides claiming lives, the earthquakes also took down several buildings, bridges, and a monastery.
The 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck at midday, with an epicentre near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city. Aftershocks followed, one of them measuring as strong as 6.4 magnitude on the Richter scale.
