Ran-Veer: Brave on the battlefield.” This message comes at a time when Ranveer is making a comeback after facing a big controversy over his comments on a show.
The ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy
Earlier this year, Ranveer found himself in the eye of a strom after an episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’, a show hosted by Samay Raina went viral online. During the show, Ranveer asked a shocking and offensive question to a contestant.
Even though the panel laughed, many netizens took offence at the comments, sparking anger and calls to take down his handle. The comment caused a huge backlash online, and several police complaints were filed against Ranveer and the show’s makers.
After the controversy, Ranveer took some time off, and on March 30, he announced his comeback with a video called ‘Let’s Talk’, where he spoke directly to his fans. He thanked those who supported him and promised to be more responsible with his content.
