Xavi sends message to Barcelona after Copa del Rey win over Real Madrid

Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez sent a message of congratulations to the team after Saturday’s 3-2 in over Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

The former coach was clearly thrilled at the victory and posted a message on Instagram after seeing Barca lift more silverware.

“Whatever they say, we are the best club in the world. Long live Barça ALWAYS,” he posted.

Xavi wasn’t the only club legend enjoying the win on Saturday night. Gerard Pique posted on X “the good guys always win,” while Andres Iniesta. Carles Puyol and Jordi Alba also posted celebratory messages.

Barcelona stayed the night in Seville but have now jetted hope with their latest piece of silverware for the trophy cabinet.

Hansi Flick’s side will have little time to dwell on the win, however.

Next up it’s a huge game against Inter in the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday.
