Rockstar initially planned a Fall 2025 release, but it’s now pushed back to May 26, 2026 to ensure the game meets quality expectations.
GTA 6 Platforms and Requirements
GTA 6 will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Sadly, there’s no confirmation on a PC version yet, and it won’t release on PS4 or Xbox One, making it exclusive to current-gen consoles.
While Rockstar hasn’t shown full gameplay footage yet, leaks suggest new features like stealth mechanics, where characters can crawl or carry bodies. The trailers hint at dynamic action scenes, chases, and heists, promising a deeply immersive experience.
Set in the fictional state of Leonida, which includes Vice City, the game offers a modern, expanded take on the Miami-inspired setting. Rockstar introduces us to major locations around the map – Grassrivers, Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park – featuring rural towns, swamps, and tropical islands. Leaks and trailer comparisons suggest the biggest GTA map yet.
- India: Rs 5,999 (Standard), Rs 7,299 (Special), Rs 20,000+ (Collector’s Edition)
- USA: $70–$100

With Rockstar taking its time, expectations are sky-high. But if early trailers and leaks are anything to go by, GTA 6 could redefine the open-world gaming experience once again.
