Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh government has issued a tentative schedule for transfer of Grade-II headmasters belonging to all managements, promotion of school assistants to Grade-II head masters, and transfer and promotion of school assistants beginning from Wednesday.
School education director V. Vijay Rama Raju issued these proceedings here on Wednesday related to transfers and promotions related to several positions in government, zilla parishad and municipal schools.
Earlier, the state government issued an order notifying the rules for regulation of transfer of teachers in the state.
Accordingly, the criteria for transfers of HMs (Gr. II) / teachers in government / zilla parishad / mandal parishad / municipalities and municipal corporations include:
Five academic years of service in a particular school as on the date of closure of academic year on May 31 for HMs (Gr. II); for teachers, eight academic years of service; HMs (Gr. II) / teachers who complete a minimum of two years of service in a school as on May 31 are eligible to apply for a request transfer.
There will be no transfer of headmasters Gr. II / teachers, who are going to retire within two years on or before May 31, except upon their own request.
