Nizamabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught red handed Gottumukkala gram panchayat secretary Katkam Ganga Mohan in Makloor mandal on Wednesday for demanding and accepting Rs 18,000 bribe from a open plot owner.
The gram panchayat secretary demanded Rs 20,000 bribe and accepted Rs 18,000 to do an official favour of allotment of house number and assessment number for open plot. By violating the norms, Mohan assured the complainant to do official favour. Following a complaint, the ACB officials caught Mohan and seized the bribe amount.
