Actress Surveen chawla recently opened up about the challenges she faced when entering the South Indian film industry. In an interview with Hauterrfly, Surveen explained, “You go down South, you need to put on weight. You come back, you need to lose weight. For the South, you’re very slim, very thin, because bosoms nahi honge… Kuch hilega nahi, kuch bounce nahi karega…”She further noted that although these expectations still exist within the industry, the manner in which people demand physical changes has become more refined and sophisticated. Earlier, such demands were made directly, so she used to respond to them just as bluntly.About her experience in TVSurveen recalled her struggling days in the television industry, particularly working with a director on Kahiin Toh Hoga, who used to treat everyone on set like cattle.
