Kareena Kapoor Khan and He is mirza share a cordial rapport with each other. They shared screen space together in ‘Kurbaan’ in 2009. Infact, Dia also appeared recently on a talk show hosted by Kareena. All’s well between the actresses now. But did you know that around two decades ago, Kareena and Dia were together at an event and Dia had spoken about how Kareena screamed at her. The ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ actress had called Kareena ‘irrational, loud and unfair’.A Reddit post which has now gone viral, takes us back to this interview by Dia. She recalled how there was an event in Lucknow which saw many actresses come together. This event saw Dia along with Namrata shirodkar, Urmila Matondkar and Kareena. Dia said in an interview with Rediff, “We were supposed to wear cotton salwaar-kameezes with the national flag. But Kareena wanted to wear a ghagra choli with heavy jewellery that she had got specially made for herself. Above all, she was not wearing the national flag.”This difference in the costume from Kareena did not go well with the other actresses. She said, “Namrata [Shirodkar] was quite upset seeing Kareena was not abiding with the required uniformity. I told Namrata to pick up her outfit and walk out, so that we could sort it out privately. Suddenly, something struck Kareena. She started screaming at me at the top of her voice, ‘Who the hell are you? Who are you to advise Namrata?’ I was flabbergasted and very upset. I left the room, without retorting.”Dia further elaborated, “Half-an-hour later, her secretary Jatin [who also happened to be Dia’s secretary] knocked at my room to say Kareena wanted to know whether I was ready. A few minutes later, she was talking to me as if nothing had happened. I have come to the conclusion that Kareena is a girl who does not realise when she is irrational, unfair and loud.”
