Kia India reported a 12.7 per cent year-on-year increase in vehicle dispatches for the first half of 2025, with 142,139 units sold between January and June, compared to 126,137 units in the same period last year.
The company also exported 11,813 vehicles in H1 2025, maintaining overseas momentum for its Made-in-India products. Kia did not release monthly data for June 2025; hence, the H1 figures reflect the overall performance for the first half of the year.
The company attributed part of its growth to the launch of the Carens Clavis, which it said has gained traction among buyers looking for vehicles with space, features, and safety.
Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, said, “The first half of 2025 has been encouraging for Kia India. Marked by steady growth despite industry-wide operational challenges, the response to our recently launched products, like the Carens Clavis has been great.”
“With our first Made-in-India EV launching this month, we are diversifying our product portfolio fortifying our long-term commitment to the evolving preferences of Indian customers. We are confident this launch will further increase our presence in the country’s fast-transforming mobility landscape.”
