The romantic ceremony was at the Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, the one where Princess Diana and Prince Charles had gotten married in July 1981. Melanie wore a custom luxurious ivory gown with a neckline embedded with pearls, a long veil, and a pair of white heels. After the nuptials, the singer changed into another designer dress for the reception at Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard, the UK’s tallest building, according to People.

Getting married at the Cathedral is considered to be an honour, and Mel B had permission from the royals. She received the distinction of becoming a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) from Prince William in 2022, as she helped raise awareness about domestic violence issues through her distinct work. “Mel was a dream to work with, bringing her own sense of style to the occasion,” Caroline Black, the owner of the bridal boutique who helped pick her a wedding look, said.
