Bengaluru: A boy delivery person identified as Prem came under attack from three unidentified persons after he refused to jump a traffic signal under Basaveshwara Nagar police station limits of Bengaluru city on Sunday night.
Upon noticing the traffic signal, Prem stopped his two-wheeler at Modi Hospital junction and it was then three persons travelling in car honked and asked Prem to give them the way despite the traffic light showing red. Prem made it clear to the persons in the car that he cannot jump the signal.
Enraged over the attitude of Prem, the three persons alighted from the car and attacked Prem. He was beaten-up by the three persons besides kicking him and punching his face. The assault on Prem led to bleeding. The three persons reportedly were drunk when they attacked Prem. Prem was left bleeding on the road before the three fled from the scene.
The attack on Prem was caught on camera. Later, injured Prem approached the Basaveshwara Nagar police station to register a complaint against the attackers. Police have assured action in the case.
