Vivo X Fold 5, Vivo X200 FE Live Updates: In the aftermath of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event that unveiled the slim Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Flip 7, Vivo is coming today with its take on a flagship-grade slim foldable. The Vivo X Fold 5, which has been on sale in China for a while, is now coming to India and is bringing along the more compact conventional slab phone – the X200 FE. Both phones are expected to bolster Vivo’s presence in the premium smartphone space, with a major focus on camera performance.
The Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE will be unveiled at a launch event that will be livestreamed from 12 PM IST, where Vivo will reveal the prices along with offers and various deals. The teasers have hinted at premium price points for both of these handsets, with an entire focus on a lightweight body and camera performance.
While the Vivo X Fold 5 will take on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Vivo X200 FE will take on the likes of the recently launched OnePlus 13s, iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S25 and the iPhone 16e. The X200 FE is apparently based on the Vivo S30 Pro Mini from China, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a triple rear camera system featuring Zeiss lenses.
