Kia Carnival key EV vs Carens Key: Interior
Inside the cabin, the Carens Clavis EV maintains the same three-row seating configuration found in its ICE sibling. The dashboard layout also remains familiar, featuring the dual-screen setup housed within a wide, integrated display. However, the most notable interior update lies in the redesigned centre console. The armrest console has been extended forward, incorporating additional storage compartments and a set of physical control buttons positioned at the front.
Another significant change is the relocation of the gear selector. It has been removed from the centre console, freeing up more usable space. Instead, the gear selector has been repositioned onto the steering column, akin to the setup seen in the Hyundai Creta Electric, which takes inspiration from the Ioniq 5. Moreover, it’s also worth highlighting that while the top-end HTX+ trim of the ICE Carens Clavis is available in both 6- and 7-seat configurations, the electric version is offered as a 7-seat model with a bench seat in the middle row.
