Bengaluru: Actor Pratham on Tuesday filed a complaint with Superintendent of Police, Bengluru accused Yashashwini and Bakery Raghu, fans of actor Darshan, along with their other unidentified persons intercepted his way after he was returning from Doddaballapura on July 22 and threatened him of dire consequences over his comments against actor Darshan.
In the complaint, Pratham alleged he was abused by the group and someone in the group threatened him with a dragger and a knife and tried to stab him for commenting against actor Darshan. He stated “When I was threatened, my friends-Mahesh, Pramod and Prakash were eyewitnesses to the incident.”
Pratham said the group showed him a photograph they had taken with actor Darshan in a Prison barrack and the actor feared for his life from fans of Darshan. He sought police protection as well.
The complaint by Pratham alleged fans of Darshan have posted several posts to ‘malign’ his image on social media since July 28 and he asked the police to initiate suitable action against persons involved in ‘dent’ his image.
It may be recalled here, actor Ramya on Monday lodged a complaint with Bengaluru Commissioner of Police Seemanth Kumar Singh against fans of actor Darshan over indulging in scandalous, ghastly and obnoxious messages to her various social media accounts. She termed the messages as “disgusting and misogynistic.”
Ramya, in her complaint, accused fans of actor Darshan of using obscene language in posting online messages thereby affecting “her modesty as a woman.”
