The Thruxton 400 images have been leaked and we have exclusive access to these images before its launch. It will be an all-new model that will be largely based on the Speed 400 and will carry a few notable design upgrades to suit its cafe racer format. Notably a half fairing which will be colour matched and clip-on bars. A different and a sharper fuel-tank that will be exclusive to the Thruxton 400 with an inset for the Triumph logo. Another point of distinction would be its rectangular taillight which looks cost-effective as compared to the 3D, layered tail light that is on Triumph’s 400cc lineup.
This new model will use the same 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine found on the rest of the 400cc Triumph range, producing 40hp and 37.5Nm. The chassis, suspension and braking hardware are to be carried over from the Speed 400.
