In the resurfaced segment, Mrunal was quizzed on the red carpet about her favourite actor, when she spilled the beans to News18, “I really enjoy watching Dhanush’s movie. ‘Sir’ is the latest film that I watched, and I really enjoyed his performance.” Although the clip is now 2 years old, it is drawing renewed attention in light of reports that the pair have recently been seen together.

The romance buzz intensified after several videos of the two actors holding hands at a screening went viral. Fans also noted a shared Spotify playlist titled “Mama’s Favs”, which reportedly featured tracks associated with Mrunal, further fuelling speculation.In a latest update, Mrunal even reportedly followed Dhanush’s older sisters and earned a follow back in return, fuelling speculation that she has met the family. Meanwhile, news reports suggest that the relationship is “very new” and that the actors have chosen to keep it private for now.
