Nissan Motor India has introduced a segment-first 10-year extended warranty plan for the New Nissan Magnite, days after the compact SUV secured a 5-star overall passenger safety rating from Global NCAP, including a perfect score for adult occupant protection.
The plan, which builds on the standard 3-year warranty, allows customers to extend coverage for up to 10 years or 2 lakh km at a cost of just 22 paise per km or ₹12 per day,the company’s statement said. It offers nationwide cashless repairs at authorised Nissan workshops, unlimited claims, and coverage on genuine spare parts, with financing options available through Nissan Finance.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said the initiative aims to give customers “worry-free ownership for a decade,” reinforcing the brand’s focus on quality, reliability, and safety.
Launched in October 2024 on the enhanced CMF-A+ platform, the New Magnite features over 40 standard safety elements, including six airbags, ESC, TCS, hill-start assist, and a high-tensile strength steel body. It is sold in more than 65 countries and was recently joined by the black-themed KURO Special Edition, priced from ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
