Putri Kusuma Wardani, a 23-year-old Indonesian badminton player, is a rising star known for her fierce and composed style of play. She recently demonstrated her skill by defeating badminton legend Tai Tzu-Ying in two consecutive tournaments. Most notably, she upset P.V. Sindhu in the World Championships quarterfinal. Wardani’s strong defense, particularly her ability to counter Sindhu’s powerful smash, was key to her victory, which prevented Sindhu from winning a sixth World Championships medal.
