Toyota Kirlloskar Motor (TKM) on Monday reported sales of 34,236 units in August 2025, marking an 11 per cent year-on-year growth over 30,879 units sold in the same month last year.
The tally included 29,302 units sold in the domestic market and 4,934 units exported, the company said in a statement.
For the January–August 2025 period, TKM clocked cumulative sales of 2,41,696 units, up 14 per cent from 2,12,785 units in the corresponding period of 2024.
“We sold 34,236 units in August 2025, maintaining our steady presence in the market and are encouraged by the continued trust customers place in our cars and services. September will be an important phase for the industry overall, and we will closely observe market trends as they unfold,” said Varinder wadhwaVice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, TKM.
During August, the company introduced a new Bluish Black colour option and standardised six airbags across all variants of the Urban Cruiser Taisor. It also launched the Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle – Sprint Edition, positioned as a sportier iteration of its luxury hybrid sedan.
Toyota Innova, one of its flagship models, completed 20 years in India last month, crossing the milestone of 12 lakh customers.
