Golnaz Borghei has left her position as corporate venturing lead at global professional services firm PwC Germany.
Borghei, along with PwC partner Florian Noell, launched the company’s first corporate VC unit in 2020, with a focus on tech access and innovation ecosystem building. A GCV Emerging Leaders awardee in 2023 and 2024Borghei has pushed for funding and networking opportunities for female founders.

The CVC unit at PwC Germany focuses on investing in early-growth stage startups that are ready to start working with the parent company on client contracts. Its investment areas include industrial internet of things (IoT), fintech, technology for managing environmental, social and governance, and climate tech.
The team also seeks to work with startups working in related areas of focus for PwC, such as cybersecurity.
Borghei did not mention her next role in the LinkedIn post announcing her departure.
