Land Rover has revealed prices of the MY26 Discovery SUV in India, which range between Rs 1.26 crore and Rs 1.39 crore, ex-showroom. The British carmaker has introduced new Gemini and Tempest editions, while the existing Dynamic S and Metropolitan Edition trims will be discontinued from 2026 onwards.

MY26 Discovery Tempest Edition: What’s new?

The Discovery Tempest Edition gets minor exterior and interior design changes. It gets up to 22-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a Petra Copper shade, which is exclusive to the edition. The roof and the ‘Discovery’ lettering on the hood are also finished in a similar shade. The grille also gets updated hexagonal elements finished in a Graphite Altas gloss hue.
The carmaker is offering a puddle lamp with a unique ‘Tempest’ symbol in this special edition model. It is also offered with exclusive door sill plates finished in silver.
The Tempest Edition is available in three exterior colour options: Carpathian Grey, Varesine Blue, Charente Grey.

Inside, the Tempest Edition comes with three hue choices: Ebony interior with Ebony headliner, Caraway interior with Light Oyster headliner, Light Oyster/Ebony interior with Light Oyster headliner
MY26 Discovery Gemini Edition: What’s new?

The Gemini Edition is the most affordable Discovery model that will be available in India in 2026. Unlike the Tempest Edition, it comes with a gloss black roof and 21-inch silver alloy wheels. It also gets silver skid plates with twon-hexazonal motifs in it, exclusive to the Gemini Edition. Its grille is finished in a silver hue.
In addition to all colour options except the Charente Grey offered with the Tempest edition, it is also available in Sedona Red (new), Fuji White, Santorini Black and Eiger Grey.

Inside, it comes with a choice between leatherette or fabric materials. Cabin themes include Ebony interior with Ebony headliner, Light Oyester interior with Light Oyester headliner, and Light Oyster/Ebony interior with Light Oyster headliner.
MY26 Discovery Gemini and Tempest: Features
Key features onboard the Discovery Gemini Edition include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, an 11.4-inch infotainment system, a 12-speaker Meridian sound system, a 3-zone climate control, a powered steering column, and a 360-degree camera.
The Tempest Edition further enhances this suite by offering a head-up display (HUD), a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, 4-zone climate control, powered 3rd row seats, and a heated steering wheel.
MY26 Discovery Gemini and Tempest: Engine Option
All variants of the Discovery are powered by a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged mild-hybrid diesel engine that sends 350hp to all four wheels of the SUV (AWD) via a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This helps it complete a 0-100km/h sprint in 6.3 seconds.
The Discovery can be considered an alternative to the likes of BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE in India.
