Kia India has launched an extended warranty program on four its popular ICE models: Seltos, Sonet, Syros and Left key. Customers can now extend coverage from 5 years to up to 7 years, which can be availed by both existing and new customers.
- Kia offers a 3-year warranty as standard
- Extended warranty will cover verified mechanical or electrical failures
For existing customers who hold a 5-year extended warranty plan, an upgrade option is available through a 5+2-year coverage plan starting at Rs 32,170 (excluding taxes). Meanwhile, new customers can opt for the full 7-year extended warranty at Rs 47,249 (excluding taxes). The warranty can be availed at any authorized Kia dealership across the country. As standard, Kia offers a 3-year warranty plan.
The warranty program covers potential risks from manufacturing or material defects, resulting in mechanical or electrical failures. The extended warranty can also be transferred when vehicle is sold, ensuring better resale value.
Other mass-market carmakers also offering a 7-year extended warranty program include Honda, Renault and Toyota.
