NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at Brahmaputra Apartments, a residential complex in New Delhi, around early afternoon. The building, which houses members of the Rajya Sabha, is located on Bishambhar Das Marg. The fire department received information about the blaze at around 1:22 pm, prompting an immediate response from emergency services. A total of 12 fire tenders were dispatched to the site to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading further. Firefighters arrived quickly and began efforts to control the situation. According to a fire department official, the blaze was successfully extinguished by around 2.10 pm. Cooling operations continued at the site after the fire was brought under control.
