Besties, it’s happened. Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have reunited, four years after Jordyn’s alleged cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson ended their friendship.
On Sunday, July 16, Daily Mail casually dropped a series of photos of the former friends having dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. The outlet reports that the two were all smiles as they exited the eatery and even drove away in the same car.
This marks the first time Kylie and Jordyn have been spotted together since their very public friendship break-up in February 2019. After news broke that Jordyn and Tristan — who, ya know, was in a relationship with Kylie’s sis Khloé Kardashian at the time — were reportedly seen hooking up at a party, Kylie removed the model from her inner circle.
Jordyn initially denied the rumors, but in a tell-all interview on Red Table Talk one month later, she admitted that she and Tristan kissed. She also said that she had apologized to Khloé multiple times since the incident.
Let’s just say… Khloé was not happy after Jordyn’s public confession. At the time, the reality star took to Twitter to call Jordyn a “liar” and accuse her of breaking up her family.
But in a separate tweet posted one day later, Khloé clarified: “What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault.”
How did Kylie feel about the whole messy situation? One Kar-Jenner insider told PEOPLE in May 2019 that she and Jordyn will “never be best friends” again. “Although Kylie was very upset and disgusted by the Tristan situation, she didn’t want to make any harsh decisions when it came to Jordyn,” the source claimed. “For a long time it seemed like Kylie wasn’t sure what would happen with their friendship. It was very difficult for Kylie to just cut Jordyn out of her life.”
“Kylie is still in contact with Jordyn occasionally, but they are never going to be best friends ever again,” the source added. “Kylie has moved on and seems very happy.”
Well, although neither Kylie nor Jordyn have commented publicly on their reunion, it appears that the ex-besties are on the road to reconciliation.
