The versatile actor, known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, will be collaborating with RS Prasanna for the social dramedy where he has cast the talented Genelia D’Souza (Deshmukh) as the female lead. Aamir will be allocating 70 to 80 working days for the film.
Simultaneously, Aamir Khan will mark his maiden collaboration with Sunny Deol in the Rajkumar Santoshi-directed ‘Lahore: 1947.’ Set against the backdrop of the partition era, the film is scheduled to begin its shoot on February 12, 2024. The production team has already initiated set construction in Mumbai to authentically recreate the historical period.
