Miss Green Bay Area competition crowns two local young women

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – In Denmark Miss Green Bay Area competition took place with seven contestants taking center stage for this scholarship event.

Those up for the honor were between the ages of 13 and 28. The winner of Miss Green Bay Area wins a $5,000 prize package and the Miss Green Bay Area Teen wins a $1,600 prize package. This year’s Miss Green Bay Area winner was Eliya Kurtzweil and the Miss Green Bay Area Teen winner was Jersey Tostrup.

“The Miss America Organization is a phenomenal program that inspires young women to achieve their best possible selves,” said Miss Green Bay Area 2023 Winner, Brooklyn Heyn. “What they can do. And I know personally, I’ve gained interview skills, public speaking skills, scholarships from the Miss Green Bay Area Organization.”
