Yogesh Mahajan Passes Away: TV and Marathi film actor Yogesh Mahajan has passed away suddenly. The actor has said goodbye to the world at the age of 44. He was found dead in his Umergaon flat. His sudden demise has created a wave of mourning among his family and close ones.
Yogesh Mahajan died tragically on January 19, 2025 due to sudden cardiac arrest. It was only after he was taken to the hospital that the doctors confirmed his death. Now the actor’s last rites will be held on January 20, 2025 at Gorari-2 crematorium near Pragati High School in Borivali West, Mumbai.
Co-star expressed grief over Yogesh’s demise
While talking to ETimes, his co-actress Suzanne Bernert has expressed grief over the demise of Yogesh Mahajan. She said- ‘I can’t believe this. Such an amazing person and actor. We had intense scenes but it was a lot of fun off camera. He was always positive and I am surprised to hear the news while sitting. Many times we traveled in his car and had deep conversations. I am sad that we lost touch during work, but it is normal to move from one project to another, but the impact of the relationship remains. Very sorry for my friend’s family.
Let us tell you that Yogesh was married, his family consists of his wife and his seven year old son, whose pictures he has shared on his social media.

Apart from this, he has worked in shows like Adalat, Jai Shri Krishna, Chakraborty Ashok Samrat and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Yogesh Mahajan is a well-known name in Marathi industry. He gained a lot of fame by working in Marathi films like Mumbaiche Shahane and Samasarachi Maya.
